Totum Education are a provider of Band 3 and 4 Non Medical Help via the DSA. Supporting Higher Education students with Autism, Mental Health Disorders and Hearing Needs. Totum Education are a quality assured provider of NMH accredited by the DSA-QAG to deliver 1:1 Specialist Mentoring, 1:1 Study Skills Support and Note Taking.

Specialist One-to-One Study Skills Support
This support is provided on a one-to-one basis with the aim to develop academic skills in areas including organisation, research and exam preparation. Our study skills mentors can provide support in literacy including spelling, grammar and punctuation. Our support is not subject specific tutoring but mentors can work with course material to help students focus their study. Our work is enable student to manage their work load whilst promoting independent learning.
Specialist Mentors work with students on a one-to-one supporting in reducing individuals specific barriers to learning. Our mentors work with students with Mental health and Autism conditions and are all very experienced within their fields. Our mentors work with students to help them reduce anxieties and stress, manage time and concentration as well as other potential barriers. A mentors role is focussed on promoting independent learning and empowering the individual.
